The most important thank you note you write is the one you are writing right now.

The Thank You Note Movement

I created "Write A Thank You Note" to show people how writing thank you notes can transform lives. I have written many thank you notes over the years and they have strengthened my personal relationships, given me peace, allowed me to see with my heart and show me how to offer grace, even when relationships can be challenging. Gratitude in general fosters a positive outlook on life and has been instrumental in the abundance of gifts I receive on a regular basis. I created this website to inspire people to write thank you notes because it is a great way to inject kindness into the world. It’s not just good manners, it’s a healthy and powerful way to express gratitude.
I've been told that it's easier said than done, when it comes to writing a thank you note. I think a lot of people feel this way. It is much easier to verbally express thanks than to sit and write a thank you note. Remember, writing the thank you note shows the receiver how much they mean to you, writing a heartfelt message conveys to the receiver you took time and made space in your day to show your appreciation to them, it also shows the respect you have for the relationship you share while demonstrating how impactful the kind deed was in which you have benefited.
An author named Jennifer Richwine wrote a book titled, "With Gratitude", The Power of a Thank You Note, she stated this quote, “My hope is that this book will give real examples of how to make this an easy, common practice that becomes a joy instead of a burden, a habit instead of a chore, an artful and meaningful endeavor, instead of a lost art. And when it does, I know those who write, and those who receive, will be transformed by this very simple act.” - Jennifer Richwine
